Abstract—Individual European Union (EU) members and EU as a whole both join the World Trade Organization (WTO) giving rise to a number of problems including whether there exists double membership in the WTO, the obligations of EU when its Members States breach WTO Agreements. This paper aims to explore some of these problems and further extend the study to some conflicts between regional economies and WTO.
