Communication in Social Media as a Reflection of the Noble Values of a Nation

Abstract—The increase in the use of social media in our society certainly bring changes in the way and acts of communication whether the use of Facebook, Friendster, blogs, Instagram and Twitter. Digital media can be used as a vehicle to create the word of mouth. This research intends to see the cultural change of new communication between people. The social media has the ability to garner opinions that may develop in various forms, from social even to political interests. This medium moderates the personal problems into public discourse. A new era in the virtual world that is considered by many people to have negative side can also be viewed from the opposite side.
