Some Aspects of the Evolution of Inflation-Unemployment Tradeoff

Abstract—The key objective of the paper is to analyze the evolution of the inflation-unemployment tradeoff. Particularly, the study provides an overview of the present empirical evidence of the inflation-unemployment tradeoff and the natural rate of unemployment, mainly in the OECD countries and the Euro area member states.

Index Terms—European union, inflation-unemployment relationship, global financial crisis.
