Human Security as a Problematic Area of Contact between Politics and Science: The Peculiarities of East Asia

Abstract—The problem of human security in international relations is becoming increasingly important replacing and pushing on the back burn the problems of national and state security. The nature of the argumentation is changing in the protection of all types of security. International expert communities (epistemic communities) are engaged into the disputes of national and state interests as arbitrators since they are able to develop independent forecasts and recommendations. This trend could easily be seen in East Asia though it falls behind the political tendencies of the West.
